Shelby Martine Holloman , 87 , passed away Wednesday , January 27 at home.

She was born June 16, 1928 in Patesville , KY to Glover and Margaret ( Shores)  Hale. She was one of thirteen children.

She retired in 1985 from RCA in Indianapolis after 32 years. She enjoyed music, working in her yard, and going to church. She also volunteered at St. John’s hospital , where she worked in the mail room.
She loved watching basketball and was a season ticket holder at Anderson High School for many years.

She is survived by five children, Danny Holloman (wife Carol), Randy Holloman, Mike Holloman, Kerry Holloman (Charles Chrystler), Jon Holloman ( wife Cheryl), seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren , two sisters Jean Murray and Rellah Turpin , three Brothers , Bobby ( wife Dalcy). Ottie (wife Cinda) and David Hale (wife Shannon)
She is preceded in death by her parents Glover and Margaret Hale. A son Russell Scott Holloman. Four sisters , Irene Hale, Edwina Pease, Charlotte Riddle, and Marcie Criss. Two brothers Curtis and Clinton Hale.

The family would like to thank Charles Chrystler and the St. Vincent’s Hospice Group for their care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, February 1st at 2:00 at Wesley Free Methodist Church , 3017 West 8th St. Anderson, IN 46011 with Pastor Mark Adams officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Bethleham Cemetery in Patesville, KY. Arrangements by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
